Wow - it's 2009!
Hope everyone's well, and welcome to new watchers

If you've got Nat Geo Wild, at least in the UK, they're rerunning Tiger Island at 9am every morning beginning on the 25th March. It's the programme set at the Isle of Wight Zoo, where my pictures are taken.

The focus is particularly on Zena, the white tiger


but the others get some airtime too, including Lola.


It's a seven part series of half hour episodes.

And yeah, I know I've not uploaded any photos in a while. Life got busy I'll do my best to have a sortout sometime soon.

First thing's first, I made the Tiger Wallpaper I promised. It got moved to my scraps, I guess because the dimensions were a little off, but it's still useable.

In other news, I'm changing direction with my photography for a little while and hoping to upload some more conceptual pieces. If that's not to your taste feel free to de-watch me - though you might want to come back around December/January, because I'll be back in the vicinity of the zoo, which means more tiger pictures. In the meantime I expect I'll have a few more tigers to post, but they'll be amongst different pictures.

I want to evolve in my photography, so with any luck this is a positive step.

I finally changed the iPatch icon. Not that it wasn't fun to have a bright pink splash as my symbol, but the tiger teeth are a little more representative of my work.

I've started putting up prints. At the moment I only have one for sale, although there should be a few more. I withdrew head over Heels for now until I can attempt to reduce the noise, so there's just Peeping.

I haven't got any tiger prints up yet, and I'm undecided about whether I will offer any. I don't want to compete with the zoo, which I'm very fond of. However I might ask their permission and see what they think.

I have at least one more shot planned which should make a fun print, though, so there'll be something extra in the shop soon enough.

Incidentally, the Time data in my camera is wrong, so if you're one of those people who reads the EXIF data then you now know why I can shoot sunshine at midnight
